He certainly isn’t taking time off easy-Darby Allin was hit by New York bus and suffers a broken nose with his injured foot recently.

We’ve long known that the AEW talent makes up for his relative lack of size with a penchant for absorbing abuse that might Mick Foley cringe. He’s part pro wrestler, part daredevil. Some who have followed him believe he’s going to push things too far at some point, or otherwise will need to dial it down. Of course that does not seem like Allin’s style. He’s doing what he can to live life to the fullest.

What’s up with Allin?

Speaking of which. Following his final AEW Tag Title defense alongside the now-retired Sting, it was acknowledge that Darby Allin was going to take some time off. At the time, the well-known plan was that Allin was going to attempt to climb Mount Everest. It’s something many people try, but few can actually accomplish. Unfortunately for Allin, he broke his foot during a match with Jay White. That was just before he was set to wrap up and go climb. The broken foot meant his goal of the summit would be delayed. And it was that broken foot that led to more issues.

While trying to enjoy his time off in New York City, Allin got hit by a New York City bus while attempting to cross a street with that broken foot. The impact resulted in Allin now having not only a broken foot, but a broken nose. Still, broken and bruised was not slowing him down. He posted that he still managed to take in a Broadway show while in the Big Apple. With this additional injury, it will probably be a bit longer before fans catch Darby in the ring again. And hopefully, much longer before I say Darby Allin hit by a bus again.
